We are pleased to announce the 5th edition of the Antigua Experimental Economics Conference. The conference will be held on February 24-25, 2017 at Casa Popenoe in Antigua Guatemala.
The conference is open to any researcher using experimental methods in economics or related social sciences (interdisciplinary papers are welcome). We would like to especially encourage experimentalists from (or doing research in) Latin America to attend, as one of the principal aims of this conference is to strengthen ties both within the Latin American experimental community, and between this community and other parts of the world.
The keynote speakers for the event are Yan Chen (University of Michigan), and Raymond Duch (University of Oxford).
We invite interested researchers using controlled experiments in the lab or in the field to submit an electronic abstract (preferably with an attached paper) by December 1, 2016. Authors of submitted papers will be notified about acceptance decisions by December 15, 2016. All participants are expected to cover the conference fee (which covers participation and all meals and coffee breaks –except breakfast, included in lodging), as well as their own travel and accommodation.
